Homework

Homework at Broadacre Primary School

At Broadacre, we see homework as an opportunity for pupils to practise, embed and consolidate their learning from school. We also see it as an opportunity for families to come together to share a love of learning.

Our new homework schedules allow pupils to practise the basic skills of reading, writing and maths in a range of ways, including the use of technology.

Each half term, there is also an opportunity for families to come together to work on a themed homework. We will offer suggestions on ways this could be done.

Pupils will earn credits for completing homework and these credits can be used to claim rewards later in the school year.
