PE – Curriculum information

Our vision, at Broadacre, is to create an environment where children have the opportunity to develop a range of skills across different sporting disciplines. We aim to equip children with the skills needed to access different sports and foster an interest in the range of activities offered, as well as enabling them to understand the importance of exercise in leading a healthy lifestyle.

We will provide all pupils with the skills necessary to individually develop and improve in each unit through EYFS to Year 6.

Through PE, children at Broadacre will:

  • Develop understanding of the importance of exercise in leading a healthy lifestyle.
  • Develop interests in a range of different sports.
  • Learn to challenge themselves physically in a range of different contexts through the teaching of sport specific skills.
