Broadacre Houses:

At Broadacre, every pupil becomes part of something bigger by joining one of our four vibrant house teams. Each house proudly carries the name of a true Hull Hero – local figures who made a lasting difference to our community: Reckitt, Johnson, Murdoch and Sullivan.

Pupils earn house tokens by living out The Broadacre Way each day, celebrating positive choices, effort and achievement. Tokens quickly add up, building excitement and friendly competition across the school. At the end of each term, the house with the highest total is rewarded with a special prize – recognising teamwork, pride and the shared drive to be the very best we can be.

The Broadacre Way is :

  • Expecting and demanding the best of everybody, showing the highest aspiration;
  • Showing respect to property, adults, pupils and ourselves;
  • Celebrating successes, no matter how small;
  • Having a positive impact on the people around us (whether in school or the wider community);
  • Being in the right place at the right time;

  • Always striving to improve;
  • Demonstrating the school’s core values of determination, aspiration, resilience and excellence.
